FIN

According to FIN its purpose is to defend, represent and promote the professions of the French nautical industry, in France and internationally.

As a privileged interlocutor of the public authorities at regional, national and European level, the Federation assists and advises companies in the legal, social, economic and technical fields. It has an information role with the general public and the media, particularly with regard to the evolution of market trends.

At the international level, the Federation actively participates in the development of the nautical sector. It is a founding member of the European Boating Industry Federation, whose main role is to represent and defend the interests of the European boating industry.

At the national level, FIN is a founding member of the Confédération du Nautisme et de la Plaisance (CNP), which brings together the driving forces of the nautical community (service industries, yachtsmen, marinas, federations and sports organisations). The CNP co-presides with the SG Mer, an interministerial working body. Finally, the Nautical Industries Federation is a founding member of the new Strategic Committee for the Marine Industries.
