We make annual donations to the King Baudouin Foundation, a benefit foundation that is an actor for change and innovation, which perfectly fits Sioen’s ‘Protection through innovation’ point of view. Some key values are integrity and transparency.

Human rights and SDGs

Sioen supports Human Rights through SDGs, taking the OHCHR as general guideline in all its operations.

SOS Faim

Together with OVO and SOS Faim, Sioen supports the emancipation of more than 3 000 female entrepreneurs in Senegal.

Rikolto

Sioen, OVO and Rikolto are committed to sustainable coffee cultivation in Sumatra. The big winners: 1 400 local coffee farmers and the rainforest.

Women @ Sioen

The company Sioen is owned by the family Sioen. The three sisters Michèle, Danielle and Pascale Sioen manage the company with a great vision and strategy. Moreover, over 60% of all employees of Sioen are female.

Ursuit garments at Vendée Globe

Maité Carlier

We're supporting the promising Belgian sailor Maité Carlier. She is active in the Laser Radial class, a singlehanded boat. She combines sailing with Communication Management studies at Arteveldehogeschool.
