CPA membership

Sioen is a member of the EU's Circular Plastics Alliance. The CPA aims to boost the EU market for recycled plastics to 10 million tonnes by 2025.

Factory of the Future Award propels Veranneman forward. Innovation, digitisation, responsible production and care for our people are focal points.

Amfori BSCI audits

SGS, an independent auditor, audits Sioen production sites according to the 13 performance areas of Amfori BSCI.

Award: Blue Biodiversity

Blue innovation award shows Sioen contribution to coastal protection measures to offset to the influences of climate change, such as rising sea levels.

We pay taxes, contributing to society

Taxes paid amounted to EUR 36.6 million: Income taxes (12.4 mio, +1% vs LY), employer social security contributions (19.7 mio +9% vs LY), holding of fixed assets 3.1 mio, on dividends 631.8 K, on commercial vehicles 32.0 K and other taxes 819.9 K.

Award: Lifetime achievement award

Mrs Sioen won the Lifetime achievement award by Director-E, the leading magazine in the apparel industry. The award was a recognition for 57 years of hard work of Mrs. Sioen since the foundation of the company in 1960. She passed away in 2020.

AQAP 2110 certification

Sioen Ballistics OY holds the AQAP 2110 certificate for MOD and NATO contracts.

BETA Innovation Award

We won the BETA Innovation Award several times. This is not a coincidence. We have a concerted focus on knowledge, innovation and creativity. This strategic vision on R&D and innovation, results in products that find their way in demanding markets.

Award: Manager of the Year

Our CEO, Michèle Sioen, was elected "Manager of the Year". A jury of experts chose, together with the readers of the magazine Trends the Manager of the Year 2017. "I consider this a price for the entire company, for all employees," she says.

Green Deal

Sioen signs the Green Deal as one of the first companies in Belgium.

Ctif Membership

Sioen is member of CTif, the International association of fire and rescue services. The goal is to have safer citizens through skilled firefighters.

Thanks to being an FEB member, we get new insights and it helps create and maintain an optimal business environment.

Award: Telematik

Sioen and ZF Friedrichshafen AG have won the Telematik Award in the category Trailer Telematics with the innovative product Detector.

Award: Innovation Award

Sioen wins Innovation Award at the Inprint Fair in München with the innovative red UV ink and varnish for the official Belgian license plate.

We are an active member of IVK, pursuing the interests in the raw material PVC and its substitutes.
