Siorom is CO2-neutral

Siorom, our Romanian manufacturing plant, has obtained the CO2-Neutral® label. By supporting a project in Guatemala, we offset the remaining climate impact.

CPA membership

Sioen is a member of the EU's Circular Plastics Alliance. The CPA aims to boost the EU market for recycled plastics to 10 million tonnes by 2025.

ISO 14001:2015

Sioen is ISO 14001 certified, which means that we’ve implemented an environmental management system (EMS).

AQAP 2110 certification

Sioen Ballistics OY holds the AQAP 2110 certificate for MOD and NATO contracts.

BETA Innovation Award

Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex certified

Sioen Apparel holds The Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex®, meaning that our garments have been tested for harmful substances.

Sioen Apparel plant in Myanmar is ISO 45001 certified, Siorom plant in Romania soon to follow.

Sioen is ISO 9001 certified, a QMS that demonstrates our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer requirements.

European Commission of Standardisation - CEN TC162

We're a member of CEN TC162 acting as Belgian Expert, involved in WG5 for Chainsaw Protective Clothing, elaboration of the new EN ISO 11393 Standard.

We're a member of CEN TC 189 and Francesco Fontana is head of the Italian delegation and Delegate of CEN TC189 within the Circular Economy Target Group of SABE.

Supporting a wind farm in the Phillipines

Our Brand Dimension Polyant combines the Clean Oceans project with a Gold Standard climate protection project, a wind farm in the Philippines, to achieve certified emission reduction. With every ton of CO2, 10 kg plastic waste is compensated.

Supporting ‘Plastic Free Oceans'

The project we support with our brand Dimension-Polyant to compensate all remaining emissions, prevents plastic waste from entering the sea and thus indirectly protects the climate.

REACH compliant

We're REACH compliant. REACH is the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use. It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances.
